The inaugural ceremony of the new academic year 2025–26 at St Aloysius English Medium School, Urwa, was held with great enthusiasm on 2nd June 2025. A special assembly was organized by the students of Class 10 A, B, and C, marking the beginning of a new academic journey.
The program began with a warm welcome address by the Headmaster Aloysius D’Souza, who extended his heartfelt greetings to all the students, teachers, and staff. He encouraged everyone to embrace the new academic year with a spirit of dedication and excellence.
Rev. Fr. Benjamin Pinto, the Correspondent of the school, addressed the gathering with an inspiring message. He emphasized the importance of discipline, hard work, and values in shaping a bright future.
A solemn lighting of the lamp ceremony was held to symbolize the light of knowledge and wisdom. The dignitaries who took part in the lamp-lighting were Rev. Fr. Benjamin Pinto our Correspondent, Mr. Aloysius D’Souza our Headmaster, Mrs. Loveena D’Cunha our Senior Teacher, Surabhi Gatty (School Pupil Leader), Sneha Kudva (Assistant School Pupil Leader), and newly admitted students.
As a token of joy and celebration, sweets were distributed to the entire school, bringing smiles to every face and setting a positive tone for the academic year ahead.
