The staff orientation program for the academic year 2025–26 was held on 27th May 2025 at St. Aloysius English Medium School, Urwa. The event commenced with Tr. Prameela Tauro as the Master of Ceremony, who gracefully led the proceedings.
The program began with a warm welcome speech by the Headmaster, Mr. Aloysius D’Souza, who greeted the staff and expressed his hopes for a fruitful and collaborative academic year ahead.
Rev. Fr. Benjamin Pinto, the school’s Correspondent, then addressed the gathering. In his message, he emphasized the importance of dedication, teamwork, and the holistic development of students through value-based education.
The highlight of the event was the inspirational talk delivered by the esteemed guest, Rev. Fr. Robert D’Souza. His thought-provoking address encouraged the teachers to remain passionate about their noble profession and to be role models for their students. His words infused the staff with motivation and a renewed sense of purpose.
The lighting of the lamp ceremony symbolized the dispelling of darkness and the ushering in of knowledge and wisdom.
The lamp was lit by Rev. Fr. Benjamin Pinto, Rev. Fr. Robert D’Souza, Mr. Aloysius D’Souza, and senior teachers Ms. Loveena Pinto and Ms. Loveena D’Cunha.
The program concluded with the vote of thanks delivered by Tr. Loveena Dcunha who expressed heartfelt gratitude to all dignitaries, staff members, and organizers for making the orientation a meaningful and memorable event.
The orientation served as a strong start to the new academic year, fostering a spirit of unity, enthusiasm, and commitment among the staff.
