St. Aloysius English Medium School, Urwa, celebrated Children’s Day on November 14th with much enthusiasm and joy. The event was hosted with great  joy and featured a variety of performances, speeches, and activities, making it a memorable occasion for everyone present.
The program commenced with the Prayer Service led by the teachers, creating a serene atmosphere to begin the celebrations. Following the prayer, a Flower Honor was paid to correspondent Rev. Fr. Benjamin Pinto and headmaster Aloysius Dsouza, honouring the spirit of the day.
The PTA Vice President, Suchitra, addressed the gathering, welcoming the students and guests. The event was further elevated by special participation from Pravijya, Leston D’Souza, and Senior Teacher Laveena Dcunha. The Welcome Speech was delivered by Mrs. Laveena Dcunha, who set the tone for the rest of the day’s events.
The Welcome Dance was performed by the PTA, followed by a lively Dance Performance by teacher Sandhya and her group, which energized the audience. Teacher Sonia Saldanha highlighted the Significance of the Day, reminding everyone of the importance of celebrating children and their potential.
The festivities continued with another Dance Performance by the PTA, creating an engaging atmosphere. The Message was delivered by the Correspondent, after which the much-awaited Prize Distribution ceremony took place, recognizing students for their achievements and contributions.
A Skit was performed by teacher Rosy D’Souza and her group, which was followed by a melodious Song presented by the PTA. The next performance, a vibrant dance by teacher Divya Shree and her group, was an enjoyable highlight of the celebration.
The Message from the Headmaster was inspiring, and this was followed by another round of Prize Distribution. 
A Skit by Cyril Crasta and his team added a touch of humor and creativity to the event. The Vote of Thanks was delivered by SPL Pravijya, who expressed gratitude to everyone involved in organizing the event and to the participants for their performances.
To conclude the day’s celebrations, sweets were distributed, bringing smiles to the faces of all the children and attendees.
The Children’s Day celebration at St. Aloysius English Medium School, Urwa, was a successful and joyful event, thanks to the efforts of the organizing team, teachers, PTA, and students. The entire program was filled with energy, creativity, and a sense of community, making it a memorable day for all.
