The annual feast of our school patron saint, St. Aloysius Gonzaga, was celebrated with great reverence and joy at St. Aloysius English Medium School, Urwa. The event was marked by a series of heartfelt activities that reflected the school community’s devotion and respect for St. Aloysius Gonzaga. A meaningful assembly was conducted by the students of class X A,B and C.
The celebration commenced with a solemn Holy Mass, which was a central part of the event. The Mass was presided over by our esteemed school correspondent, Fr. Benjamin Pinto. His inspiring homily highlighted the virtues and life of St. Aloysius Gonzaga, encouraging students to emulate his dedication and compassion.
The school choir, known for its melodious voices, played a significant role in enhancing the spiritual atmosphere of the Mass. Their harmonious rendition of hymns added a soulful touch to the ceremony.
Showing their love and respect for St. Aloysius Gonzaga, students participated in the offertory procession. This act of offering symbolized their gratitude and devotion towards the patron saint.
Following the Mass, a special refreshment session was arranged for the school staff. This gesture was a token of appreciation for their continuous hard work and dedication towards the school’s mission.
To spread the joy of the feast, sweets were distributed to all students. This delightful treat added an element of celebration and was warmly received by the students.
