The Electoral Literary Club organized a visit to St. Joseph Prashant Nivas Ashram in Jeppu, aiming to encourage students to engage with the elderly residents and promote values of compassion and social responsibility. 
Ms.Sandhya Alva, the Emcee, opened the program by welcoming everyone, creating an inviting and warm atmosphere. She introduced the schedule and set the tone for the day’s events.
Sr. Vida, the in-charge of the ashram, officially inaugurated the Electoral Literary Club logo and lit the ceremonial lamp. This act symbolized hope, compassion, and dedication, embodying the spirit of the club’s mission.
A heartfelt prayer was led by students from the 9th and 10th grades, creating a peaceful ambiance and reflecting the club’s respect for the ashram and its residents.
The Headmaster addressed the students, emphasizing the importance of service, empathy, and the role of youth in bringing joy to others.
Sr. Vida shared her thoughts, expressing gratitude for the club’s visit and encouraging students to continue supporting community service initiatives.
A vibrant cultural performance followed, with students performing a group song and dance, bringing joy and smiles to the residents and building a lively connection with them.
The students and residents enjoyed a series of light-hearted games. Following the games, the Headmaster distributed prizes, adding excitement and joy to the event.
Ms. Premilla Tauro concluded the event with a heartfelt vote of thanks, expressing appreciation to the ashram’s staff and residents for their warm welcome and participation.
As a gesture of respect and appreciation, students presented a small grocery kit to the ashram, symbolizing their gratitude and support for the residents.
