The Career Guidance Program for SSLC students was successfully held on October 23rd, aimed at providing students with valuable insights into various career paths and the importance of making informed decisions for their future.
The event commenced with a heartfelt Prayer Song performed by the 10th Standard students, setting a positive tone for the gathering.
Mr. Aloysius D’Souza delivered the Welcome Address, emphasizing the importance of career guidance in shaping students’ futures and encouraging them to explore their interests and passions.
The ceremonial Lighting of the Lamp was conducted by our esteemed resource person, Mr. Ronald Pinto, the Director of the Institute for Individual Development in Mangalore. This was followed by introductions of key guests, including:

• Narayan Kotian (Treasurer, Lions Club)
• Dinakar Kotian (Director, Lions Club)
Mr. Ronald Pinto delivered an engaging keynote speech, discussing various career options available to students post-SSLC, emphasizing the importance of skill development and adaptability in today’s job market. He shared personal anecdotes and insights, motivating students to pursue their dreams while being realistic about their choices.
An interactive session followed, allowing students to ask questions and engage directly with Mr. Pinto and the guest speakers. This part of the program was particularly well-received, with many students eager to clarify their doubts regarding different career paths.
Laveena D’Cunha, the Senior Teacher, provided the closing remarks, reinforcing the message of the day about the significance of early career planning and the resources available to students.
