The Green Day Programme held on the occasion of Vanamahotsava was a vibrant and educational event, aimed at instilling the importance of nature and the environment in young minds. Following the welcome address, the KG children led everyone in a heartfelt prayer song. The melodious voices of the young ones filled the room, invoking blessings for a greener and healthier planet.

Myron Fernandes delivered a meaningful speech on the colour green. He described the various shades of green found in nature and their calming effects on the human mind. His speech highlighted the symbolic meaning of green as a colour of life, renewal, and energy.

A group of KG children took the stage next to talk about the importance of green objects, vegetables, and fruits. They showcased various green items explaining their nutritional and environmental benefits. Their engaging presentation was both informative and delightful.

The action dance performance by the KG children was a visual treat. Dressed in green costumes, the little dancers moved gracefully to the rhythm, embodying the essence of nature and growth. .

The students presented a skit on the theme of Vanamahotsava, focusing on the importance of saving trees and protecting the environment. The skit was thought-provoking, leaving a lasting impact on everyone present.

Mr. Aloysius Dsouza, the Headmaster, addressed everyone present with an inspiring speech. He emphasized the significance of instilling environmental awareness in children from a young age. He also commended the efforts of the teachers and students in making the Green Day Programme a success.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Mrs. Shiny Dsouza. She expressed gratitude to all the participants, teachers, and parents for their support and contribution to the event.
